We are David & Kathie Winteridge originally from England. We have spent most of our working lives in catering, hotels, bars and restaurants.
La Meridienne is our first venture in France but we have previously spent 7 years in Spain where we owned and operated 2 restaurants plus a private dining club.
Our philosophy is to cook fresh food using local ingredients but not always prepared in the local style. Our cuisine is modern and we are constantly looking for new ideas whilst being true to established flavours.
Service within the restaurant is of paramount importance to us. This is Kathie’s domain and you can be sure of a friendly, professional welcome and efficient service throughout your meal. Kathie may not be fluent in your language but she will definately try! (we regularly have upto 6 different nationalities in the restaurant!)
